Here are details of some of the people we work for and what we've done for them.

Progression Routes Research for Kent and Medway Lifelong Learning Network
KMLLN asked us to research options for further and higher education for students finishing BTEC National Diplomas in schools and colleges across the county.

Having conducted the research we compiled it into simple listings that could be downloaded by staff and students to assist in navigating the confusing world of careers and qualifications.

Web Updates for AimHigher Kent and Medway
Aimhigher Kent and Medway (AHKM) is part of the national Aimhigher programme which aims to widen participation in higher education (HE) by raising the aspirations and developing the abilities of young people from under-represented groups.  We've been working with AimHigher to make updates to their website using their Content Management System.

AimHigher Kent and Medway

This has involved uploading assets, creating galleries of documents and resources, performing regular checks for broken links and working with their web hosting provider to request enhancements to the site.

It's a large and complex site that requires regular updates with news and updated information.  Have a look at it here: http://www.aimhigherkentandmedway.org/

This is what AimHigher said:
"For the past year Jude has supported Aimhigher Kent and Medway in and maintaining the content of our website. I would recommend her without hesitation as reliable, proactive and knowledgeable in unlocking the complexities of website content management!"

Training Needs Analysis for the Division of Dentistry, University of Kent
A recent project has been the development and delivery of a Training Needs Analysis Survey for KSS Deanery and the University of Kent.

The survey itself was designed to identify key factors influencing the CPD choices of Dental Care Professionals and Dental Practice Managers.  Using an online survey tool, several hundred respondents' views were collected and data analysed during the early part of 2010.

In addition to straightfoward data gathering, logic was incorporated into the survey to ensure that if, and only if, respondents indicated that they were happy to be approached for further information, their contact details were captured in full.

To explore the results in further detail, we held focus group events at two post-graduate education centres in the South East which were attended by respondents from a number of different practices.

The findings were presented as a report to the Dean of KSS Deanery and the head of the Division of Dentistry at the University of Kent in early summer 2010.  View an extract of the final report here.

Learning Opportunities Research for Kent and Medway Lifelong Learning Network
Kent and Medway Lifelong Learning Network is a Higher Education project aimed at improving awareness of routes into University level education for people who may not have previously considered HE.

As part of this work, we have carried out extensive research into HE options for students who are currently studying for or have recently completed one of a number of vocational qualifications (e.g. BTEC National Diplomas).

We then compiled the data into a format that could be presented on the KMLLN website - why not take a look
